Did anyone else have a pleasant “Grow-Me” experience at Time Conference 2009?

Have you ever booked for an out of town function and then thought “I hope this event is really worthwhile”, “or will this just be another conference?”

Sure enough, as I entered the exhibition hall, it did have that familiar “conference” look, networking sounds, scents and feeling.

A quick tour of the stands revealed some interesting people, some intriguing ideas and some excellent free giveaways.

The big Green Grow-Me display caught my attention and I watched as people chatted and gestured in the entranceway.

After some racing car simulation, a wonderful encounter with Austin Powers and some tips from Celebrity Speakers, I meandered over to Grow-Me.

Robyn leapt to attention as I approached; her smile and handshake both firm and genuine.

My bright Green tie became the topic of conversation with Lauren and Robyn for a few moments, then we discussed Grow-Me.

It was an extremely pleasant, informative and useful conversation, peppered with humour and laughter.

The concept seemed sound, the direction good and the vision is backed by a website, quality brochures and two highly intelligent, passionate and articulate directors.

I truly hope they will succeed and in doing so, they will help many other people reach their goals.
