Sales Tips for 2013

Are you sitting on your nest or are you soaring?

You were not made to stay stationery and rest a while, you were made to soar, but to do that you have to leave your nest (comfort zone) and go and do things you have not done ever, or for a while. To be the best in sales you will need to leave the familiar and step out into things that will allow you to be more successful than you have ever been.

Tips to be successful in sales this year starting in January 2013.

1. Look at your areas and plan them into your diary on a 6 weekly cycle.

2. Look into your client base, put them into A, B and C’s and put them into the diary.

3. Look at the list of prospective clients that said no last year and start ringing them to see where things are for this year.

4. Look at your Pipeline and start contacting people right now to ensure the business comes in.

5. Start putting client visits into your diary

6. Put a list of prospective clients together with names, phone numbers and reasons why you want to work with them and what your offer is and start doing homework on them.

7. Make those calls and put the information into your CRM programme.

8. Ensure that all your quotes are up to date and get them out to the client by hand.

9. Ensure that all follow ups from last year have been done.

10. Plan, Plan, Plan and then get out and do the business.

Every success for 2013. You will be ahead of the pack if you follow these tips.
