Overview:
A high level of responsibility is placed on principals who engage contractors and sub contractors by the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992. This workshop will assist in clarifying your liability in relation to the labour and services you purchase, and also assist you to identify the occupational health and safety aspects when engaging contractors.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
• Explain the legal and organizational requirements for engaging contractors on site
• Explanation of how to manage the use of contractors on site
• Learn how to carry out contractor performance reviews
