In many instances health and safety in the workplace is a matter of attitude. This course provides support for health and safety representatives in what is often a challenging and unfamiliar workplace role. It also forms the basis for their personal development plan based the on their current skill sets and the needs of their company.

•Develop systems to measure health and safety processes
•Identify and report on links to productivity due to improved health and safety practices
•Collate various sources of injury information from within the workplace for reporting purposes
•Determine injury causal factors from Incident Reports and provide detailed feedback to Health and Safety Committee meetings for further action
•Promote improvements within the workplace to reduce costs of workplace injuries
