Overview:
Research in psychology has investigated what helps individuals and groups to perform well, even under pressure. It’s been found that particular interventions increase performance. Parallel research in neuroscience has begun uncovering the fundamental principles of how the brain works and provides a framework for understanding why these interventions are effective.

This two-day course equips participants working in high-stress environments with knowledge and practical tools to use in professional roles. The course begins with a scientific outline for understanding why certain tools and skills are effective for enhancing performance; the second part then focuses on the practice and application of tools and skills that have been shown to improve memory, concentration, executive functioning, performance and accomplishment.

Who should attend:
For professionals at any level wanting an evidence-based approach to obtaining skills to improve their performance, particularly in demanding roles that involve a high degree of stress. As the modules cover a wide range of performance factors the course would be of maximum benefit to those wanting an integrated approach to elevating performance.
