The Objectives

To equip executives and small to medium sized business owners with the tools, strategies and techniques they need to effectively use social media.

To highlight best practices in social media marketing

To ensure participants understand and appreciate the value of social media in a company's marketing and sales mix

To give participants practical exposure to the social media universe.

To highlight some of the other business advantages of social media, such as:

boosting innovation
enhancing partner relationships
reputation management
staff engagement

By the end of the workshop, participants will

Have an understanding of what social media is, and its difference from mass media and one-to-one media
Have an overview of specific social media platforms and key trends
Have created up to date LinkedIn profiles, Twitter accounts, Google+ accounts
Have conducted a mini in-bound marketing campaign for the charity or cause of their choice
Know how to create an Agile strategy for B2B social media marketing
Know how to use an Agile decision making framework
Be able to use the FACE framework to find leads
Have a network of fellow participants to keep in touch with

Format

Three four-hour sessions, held on the same day each week for three consecutive weeks, followed by two webinars. Just as social media is an interactive format, this workshop will be interactive, ensuring that participants practise what they learn.

This is also an agile workshop, designed using the principles behind agile software development to ensure the course meets the real needs of the participants.
