Imagine this… your team enters the venue to be met by the sounds of drumming from the Human Rhythms team. As the surprised team members take their seats they discover a drum in front of them and start to play.
At this point, the Human Rhythms team orchestrates the individual contributions into one unified musical performance by layering rhythm and sound dynamics.
Periodically, the group is led through warm-up stretches and light-hearted moves designed to amuse, loosen and relax.
Our team will then facilitate a series of fun, simple rhythms that will build in intensity, both challenging and uplifting all present, until finally climaxing in a crescendo of sounds.
In around 45 minutes (or so) your group undergoes an energy transformation by experiencing an unforgettable musical journey, where laughter happens and motivation achieved in a high-energy interactive performance.
The instruments (tools) we propose to use are professional quality African styled Djembe drums and musical tubes.
Outcomes from this program include:
1. Use of Imagination / Creativity – this session will take the team out of their comfort zone and they will create something unexpected → music
2. Work Better Together – to achieve the unexpected, your group will have worked as a team. They would have listened to each other, supported each other and enjoyed the result of their efforts. They will have been the perfect metaphor for what a high-performance team looks like and how they operate.
3. Have Passion to excel – to excel they will be asked to push the boundaries of what they believe they are capable of doing and in so doing will create a great deal of excitement
…and all without a pen, computer, PowerPoint presentation or whiteboard and all without one word spoken.
