TEAM BUILDING and DEVELOPMENT

Testimonial - "Wow! We were swept away! If you ever want to do a Team Building which your Team will both enjoy and remember, (and honestly, how many of those have you done?), then do the Human Rhythms!" Oscar Paulich

Imagine this… your team enters the venue to be met by the sounds of drumming from the Human Rhythms team. As the surprised team members take their seats they discover a drum in front of them and start to play.

At this point, the Human Rhythms team orchestrates the individual contributions into one unified musical performance by layering rhythm and sound dynamics.

Periodically, the group is led through warm-up stretches and light-hearted moves designed to amuse, loosen and relax.

Our team will then facilitate a series of fun, simple rhythms that will build in intensity, both challenging and uplifting all present, until finally climaxing in a crescendo of sounds.

In around 45 minutes (or so) your group undergoes an energy transformation by experiencing an unforgettable musical journey, where laughter happens and motivation achieved in a high-energy interactive performance.

Your team is now broken into a number of smaller groups and each group is challenged to create their own team rhythm.

After 30 minutes (during which time the Human Rhythms facilitator moves from group to group guiding and encouraging), each group performs their rhythm to the entire group.

The finale is the combining of each team rhythm into one symphony of sound performed by the entire team.

The instruments (tools) we propose to use are medium (60cm) professional quality African styled Djembe drums, tambourines, maracas and musical tubes.

Outcomes from this stage and team skills used, include:

1. Application of creativity skills to deliver a result
2. Demonstration of the importance of how individual teams serve the overall achievement of the total team
3. Collaboration required to get greatest result
4. Respect for others realising that everyone has a role to play
5. Listening is as important as playing
6. Celebration of a successful team even
